Insights into the Morphostenophanes (Coleoptera, Tenebrionidae) fauna of the Ailao Mountains: A new species, key, and distributional pattern of the sympatric species

Morphostenophanes ailaoshanensis sp. nov. is described, which is the fourth species distributed in the Ailao Mountains in Yunnan, China. Detailed illustrations of the habitus and diagnostic characters of the new species are provided. Furthermore, an identification key to all four Morphostenophanes species recorded in the Ailao Mountains is presented, supplemented by geographical and altitudinal distribution maps.
