The occurrence of the family Psilidae (Diptera) in Albania, with description of a new Chamaepsila Hendel, 1917 species

Psilidae Macquart, 1835 is reported from Albania for the first time based on voucher specimens. A unique new species, Chamaepsila gropensis sp. nov., characterized by blackish-tinged wings, is described, and Chamaepsila homochroa Freidberg & Shatalkin, 2008 is newly recorded from the country. The latter record represents the westernmost known occurrence of the species and its second record in Europe.
